Mission 

To provide the foundation that supports our partners in performing government operations.

Divisions

Civic Services Department has five divisions, providing services that directly support our partners (other city departments), in delivering services to the community.

  • Facility Services - manages and maintains city facilities totaling 637,650 sq ft, spread across 14 locations, including 9 fire stations.
  • Real Property - manages the city's real estate portfolio and participates in real estate transactions to help the city complete its projects throughout the community.
  • Land Survey - provides survey and mapping services for the city's capital investment projects and preserves and maintains over 10,000 land survey monuments throughout Bellevue.
  • Fleet & Communications - acquires, repairs, and manages the city's fleet of vehicles and communications equipment (635 vehicles, 430 pieces of equipment, and 3,000 electronic communications devices.)
  • Client Services - the keeper of the city's service delivery model known as "Service First," provides direct services to the public at Bellevue City Hall through the public service desk, meeting and event programs, and the MyBellevue mobile app.

Recognition for High Performance

  • City of Bellevue's fleet was named #1 in North America in the mid-sized fleet category (2016)
  • Bellevue City Hall received the prestigious Energy Star award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for superior energy efficiency (2008)
  • Bellevue City Hall received a merit award from the Seattle chapter of the American Institute of Architects for its award winning aesthetics (2008)
