The City of Bellevue Transportation Department strives to provide a safe and efficient transportation system that supports livable neighborhoods and a vital economy in partnership with the community. This means providing safe streets for everyone, whether they are driving, walking, biking or using transit.

The Department's approach to safety is an interdepartmental effort spanning workgroups, street types and neighborhoods. Guiding what we do is our commitment to Vision Zero: the city's effort to eliminate traffic deaths and serious injury collisions on city streets by 2030.
