Although the city does not operate its own transit service, it works to positively influence transit services and facilities in Bellevue by
conducting planning and analysis in coordination with regional transit agencies.
One example is the Bellevue Transit Master Plan, adopted by the City Council in 2014.
It establishes scalable short- and long-term strategies and identifies projects that foster a high-quality transit system to meet Bellevue’s needs through 2030.
The City also works with employers and others on commute programs to encourage a variety of transportation options.
