Bellevue's Fire Explorer program is for youth aged 14-21 who may be interested in pursuing a career as a firefighter, EMT and/or paramedic. They can join our Post 311, which affords them some practical experience. Fire Explorers meet regularly to do drills at the Bellevue Training Center. As they gain experience, they have the opportunity to experience the fire service firsthand through ride alongs with on-duty crews.

Bellevue Fire Explorers often volunteer to staff large community events such as the annual Fire Department open house and the Family 4th at Downtown Park.
