It is my sincere honor to serve as Interim Fire Chief for the City of Bellevue. I began my fire service career here, in January of 1997. I have had the distinct honor and privilege of serving alongside each member that makes up your Bellevue Fire Department. I feel a strong sense of pride for the care, compassion, and hard work that goes towards meeting the needs of this community day in and day out.
Over the years I have witnessed the incredible amount of growth that has occurred in this area and its changing needs. Our team consists of fine professionals who work tirelessly to prevent emergencies, respond to emergent and non-emergent 911 calls, provide education and preparedness to the community. We make the most of data driven decision making to inform our processes of continual improvement.
We recognize and greatly appreciate the partnerships we have with the other departments in the city and adhere to the One City Bellevue Vision. Without the mutual aid of our regional partners, and other city stakeholders, we would not be as effective or as efficient in fulfilling our mission. They are integral to our success.
You are invited to join us at one of our monthly open houses or stop by and say hello when you see us out in the community. My commitment to you is that the Bellevue Fire Department will strive for excellence in the service we provide to all those who live, work, and visit this beautiful and rapidly growing community. We are grateful for the trust instilled in us and we are ready and willing to serve!
