Public Hearing registration
- State your full name at the start of your comments.
- The best comments are direct, brief and straight-to-the-point.
- You have a maximum of three minutes to speak. There is a timer on the screen at the council chamber if you’re speaking in person or on the Zoom screen if you’re speaking virtually.
- If your comments have been made by previous speakers, you can let the city clerk know that you do not need to speak because your point has been addressed.
- If you plan to provide supplemental information with printouts, you can give them to the city clerk after you speak. The clerk will share them with the council.
- If you are speaking in person, remember to speak directly, close to the microphone at the table. You can adjust the microphone’s position.
- When your time has ended, the city clerk will alert you to finish your comments.
