Speaker Registration

Any person may participate in the Hearing Examiner’s public hearing on the Director’s recommendation by submitting written comments electronically to hearingexaminer@bellevuewa.gov, prior to the hearing or by making oral comments at the hearing.

Please email hearingexaminer@bellevuewa.gov by 3:00 p.m. the day of the hearing to submit your written comments for consideration by the Hearing Examiner.

If you wish to speak at the public hearing, please register by using this form. The deadline for registration through the webform is 3:00 p.m. the day of the hearing. If you miss the webform registration deadline, you may still have an opportunity to speak while the public testimony portion of the hearing is open.

Public Hearings are conducted in a hybrid manner and speakers can appear in-person in Council Chambers at Bellevue City Hall or connect virtually via Zoom. The Zoom connection details can be found at Upcoming Hearings | City of Bellevue (bellevuewa.gov).

The public hearing will begin at 6:00 p.m., starting with the City planner’s presentation of the application, then followed by the applicant’s presentation (if any), questions from the Hearing Examiner and public testimony. During the hearing, speakers will be called in the order in which they have registered. If previous speakers have made the same point you wish to express, simply indicate your support of the comments.

As a participant of the hearing, you are entitled to receive a copy of the Hearing Examiner’s Decision (Process I) or Recommendation (Process III). Please indicate in the webform below, whether you prefer to receive your copy via email or United States Postal Service (USPS).
