The Firemen's Pension Board generally supervises and controls the administration of this fund, and ultimately has responsible oversight for administrative activities.

The board is composed of five members:
- Chair (City Councilmember): Dave Hamilton
- Director of Finance: John Resha
- City Clerk: Charmaine Arredondo
- Two regularly employed or retired firefighters:
- Mike Crosby (retired firefighter)
- Eric Pedeferri (employed firefighter)

- Human Resources: Steve Treperinas
- Legal Advisor: Kathleen Kline
Meetings
The Board meets twice a year - the 3rd or 4th Monday of January and July.
