To ensure proposals aligns with the most relevant policies in the City of Bellevue Comprehensive Plan, submittals must include a completed Comprehensive Plan Policy document, tailored to each proposal.
The city does not provide a standard template. Applicants should include a separate PDF matrix—distinct from the plan set—highlighting the most applicable policies from both the general and subarea elements of the Comprehensive Plan. For example, a residential project should reference relevant housing policies. If the project is in Eastgate, it should also address policies from the Eastgate Subarea Plan.
For each selected policy, the response must explain how the proposal meets its intent. This ensures both the city and the public can see how a project aligns with the city's overarching goals as outlined in the Comprehensive Plan.
