Building Design Documents

The building design document file is a combination of the plan sheets that concern the design of a building at the Land Use permitting stage. The plans will need to be developed sufficiently to illustrate compliance with the Land Use, Fire, and Buildings codes for the current stage of design.
The requirements for information contained in the Building Design Documents is determined by the type of permit under which it is submitted. It may contain any or all the following:
- Description of Proposal
- Design Guidelines
- Birdseye Perspective and Photo Simulation
- Amenity Plan and Chart
- Basic Site Plan
- Onsite Exterior Lighting Plan
- Building Elevations
- Building Floor Plan

The Building Design Documents file is required to be bookmarked. The bookmarks should coordinate with the required information in the list above and with the indexing of the plan sheets. All required information must be provided on full-size plan sheets.
