    Easements Plan 

    Due to the complexity of existing and proposed easements, this submittal plan sheet is necessary to identify all existing and proposed easements related to Land Use, Transportation, Fire, and Utilities with a corresponding table and color-coded graphic plan. Identify all existing easements to be amended, modified or relinquished. Applicants should also clearly identify any easements which are shared between adjacent properties.  

    The purpose of this submittal requirement is to start documenting the relationship between the various easements across the property so that city staff can begin working with our Real Property division early in the process. This will not be the final easement plan as it will need to be continuously updated throughout the review process in order to prepare projects for construction. It is important to note that any easements that need to be relinquished are required to be reviewed by City Council, which can take time to process. Therefore, identifying these earlier in the review process can help speed up the relinquishment process for your project.
