Lakemont Community Park is 16 acres and features a play area, two picnic shelters, a basketball court, two tennis courts, four pickleball courts (overlay on the two tennis courts), a skate bowl, trails, restrooms, and a softball field.
More than three miles of multiple-use trails cut through the Lakemont neighborhood, connecting Lakemont Park and Lewis Creek Park. Lakemont Park's distinguishing feature is a large stormwater management system.
This system reduces flooding and helps protect Lewis Creek and Lake Sammamish from pollution. From the park, soft surface trails lead down to Lewis Creek. Listen to the babbling of the creek and watch for deer as you explore the vast open space of the Lewis Creek valley. Use caution; portions of the trail are steep and/or use stairs.
Rentals
Your guests will love the feel of privacy this park has to offer. Shelters are located on the back side of the park, near the skate park. Each shelter accommodates up to 25 guests. Visit the park rental webpage for more information.
Pilot Outdoor Sport Courts Shared Use Schedule Begins July 1
The sport courts at Eastgate and Lakemont Parks will follow a “Shared-Use” schedule starting July 1 to allow more equitable use of tennis and pickleball courts. Each sport will have a scheduled block of time (length varies seasonally) at each park every day of the week. Times will alternate daily to ensure that players have dedicated time to play their sport of choice. Read more...
