The Boat Launch is open. Interested in an annual permit? Contact Julie Byers at jbyers@bellevuewa.gov and see the application below.
The Southeast 40th Street Boat Launch provides boat access to Lake Washington. Located at 118th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 40th Street, the launch has one lane for launching, one lane for retrieving boats and approximately 65 parking spaces designated for vehicles and trailers. One vehicle/trailer parking space is reserved for vehicles with a Washington handicap permit.
A launch permit entitles the purchaser to park for up to 24 hours on a space-available basis. Fees can be paid on a daily basis at the boat launch, or an annual permit may be purchased. The pay station does not accept coins or bills; only debit or credit cards can be used to buy a permit.
Annual permits are available beginning in January and are valid for the remainder of the current calendar year, regardless of date purchased.
