The city contracts with Republic Services for garbage, recycling, and food and yard waste services. For billing or other inquiries, contact Republic Services at 425-452-4762 (residential) or 425-646-2492 (commercial).

Five Ways to Pay Your Utility Bill

    1. Bellevue Utilities Customer Service portal provides easy access to pay your utility bill. Choose Make a Payment to get started. You can also sign up for Automatic Payments. Additionally, you can pay your bill using the other methods below:
    2. Pay by Phone: Call 425-452-6979
    3. Pay Using your Bank's Bill Pay Feature:
      • Make sure to include your seven-digit account number.
      • Your financial institution may send us a payment by mail. In this case, processing your payment may take five to seven days.
    4. Pay by Mail:
      • Mail your check and payment stub to Bellevue City Treasurer, PO Box 35139, Seattle, WA 98124-5139.
      • Make sure to include your account number on the check.
    5. Pay in Person:
      • City Hall, 450 110th Ave. NE, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. An after-hours drop box is located to the left of the visitor parking entrance doors.
      • Crossroads Mini City Hall,  15600 NE 8th St., located inside the shopping center. A drop box is located outside the doors on your right.

    Payment Options

Paying by card can be convenient, but that convenience comes at a price. Credit card fees can be costly, and, as stewards of our customers’ dollars, we are continuously looking for ways to save money. We have implemented a fee for credit card users to help recoup the cost of credit card transactions. We encourage utility customers to choose a payment option other than a credit card.

    • Electronic check from bank account (no fee)
    • Credit/debit card (fee is applied to all card payments)
