Beach Closed Sign

The City of Bellevue has closed the swimming areas at Newcastle Beach Park and Enatai Beach Park due to high bacteria levels in the water.  The parks remain open for picnicking and playground use.  Swimming is still open at Meydenbauer Bay Park and Chism and Clyde Beach Parks, with lifeguards now at all three.  The lifeguards will be shifted from Chism and Clyde back to Newcastle and Enatai when those parks are re-opened for swimming.

The REI Boathouse at Enatai will be closed until the beach reopens. You are encouraged to visit the boathouse at Meydenbauer Bay Park instead.
