2020
On July 30, Mayor Lynne Robinson and Deputy Mayor Jared Nieuwenhuis talked about the considerable resources the city has directed to help residents and businesses succeed, innovate and persevere through the economic shutdown caused by the coronavirus. They delivered the State of the City address in a socially distanced video "chat" hosted by the Bellevue Downtown Association.
2019
On April 23, 2019, Mayor John Chelminiak gave the 2019 “State of the City” presentation to a 200-plus crowd at Meydenbauer Center. The address highlighted how Bellevue’s intentional planning, focus on creating community and bold policies set it up to be one of the world’s most desirable places to live and work.
