For many years, Bellevue's mayor has introduced the City Council's plans for the coming year in a State of the City address before the Bellevue Downtown Association at the Bellevue Club.
On April 23, Mayor John Chelminiak gave the 2019 “State of the City” presentation to a 200-plus crowd at Meydenbauer Center. The address highlighted how Bellevue’s intentional planning, focus on creating community and bold policies set it up to be one of the world’s most desirable places to live and work.
