    2022

    Mayor Lynne Robinson and Deputy Mayor Jared Nieuwenhuis shared how Bellevue is "thriving by design" at the Meydenbauer Center on June 28, during one of the Bellevue Downtown Association's first large in-person events in two years.

    For a second year, the State of the City, on May 25, was an online discussion hosted by BDA president Patrick Bannon. Mayor Lynne Robinson and Deputy Mayor Jared Nieuwenhuis reviewed the city's continuing efforts to help residents and businesses through the pandemic and to incorporate equity and inclusion into its policies.

    On July 30, Mayor Lynne Robinson and Deputy Mayor Jared Nieuwenhuis talked about the considerable resources the city has directed to help residents and businesses succeed, innovate and persevere through the economic shutdown caused by the coronavirus. They delivered the State of the City address in a socially distanced video "chat" hosted by the Bellevue Downtown Association.

    2019

    On April 23, Mayor John Chelminiak gave the 2019 “State of the City” presentation to a 200-plus crowd at Meydenbauer Center. The address highlighted how Bellevue’s intentional planning, focus on creating community and bold policies set it up to be one of the world’s most desirable places to live and work.

    2018

    During the State of the City address on April 24, entitled "Bellevue's Tomorrow," Mayor John Chelminiak and Deputy Mayor Lynne Robinson share insights into the strategic plans for Bellevue's future.
