The project will connect existing sidewalks on the north side of SE Eastgate Way to improve connections for people walking and rolling between Bellevue College, the Eastgate Park and Ride, apartments, and businesses to the Factoria area. The bicycle lanes on SE Eastgate Way will be maintained.
The preliminary phase of the project will examine opportunities for adding a planter area, examine retaining wall types, and will determine the final roadway and bicycle lane widths. Once a layout is determined, the project will move into final design and then construction.
