Isola Homes submitted applications for a Critical Area Land Use Permit and Planned Unit Development to the City of Bellevue in October 2016.  These applications proposed the Park Pointe Planned Unit Development (PUD) to create 35 units on a 12.3-acre site.

The site is located at the south end of the City of Bellevue, on Lakemont Boulevard SE and is adjacent to the Coal Creek Natural Area. It contains environmental critical areas and an existing City of Bellevue Park trail that connects the Cougar Mountain Regional Park and Red Town trailhead on the east side of Lakemont Boulevard to the City's trail system in the Coal Creek Natural Area. The trail connection that crosses the site will be preserved in open space to maintain public access. 

On January 26, 2023, the city issued a notice of decision on the Critical Area Land Use Permit and a SEPA determination under the State Environmental Policy Act. Combined with this decision was a notice of recommendation and public hearing to the city's Hearing Examiner who makes the city's final decision on the Planned Unit Development. A public hearing was held on March 2, 2023. The resources below provide project information and respond to public comments and questions provided at the hearing.

The Hearing Examiner approved the land use permit and denied the appeals for the Park Pointe PUD on October 5.
