The Inclusive Innovation Advisory Forum is intended to guide city staff on Bellevue’s approaches to innovation, supporting city priorities, advances in service delivery and investment in new technologies alongside community partners. In Bellevue, innovation supports opportunity, equity, mobility and economic development.
The forum will advise staff on topics such as:
- Priority of citywide innovation projects
- Policy development
- Equity and community impacts of emerging technologies
- Supporting community education opportunities and digital equity
- Enhancing Bellevue as a place where innovators want to grow their businesses and test their ideas
- Growing innovative partnerships
The whole forum will meet three to four times a year in facilitated meetings, with Bellevue’s chief information officer chairing. Residents and businesses are encouraged to attend and get involved.
A preview and brainstorming session for the forum was held on Thursday, Nov. 14, 6-8 p.m. in City Hall. The first meeting of 2025 will be Wednesday, March 5, at City Hall.
