Bellevue launched the Inaugural Civic Innovation Challenge on June 4. Applications were due by July 8 and are being reviewed now. The first challenge is closed, but please stay tuned for future announcements and updates. Details about the challenge can be found below;
Inaugural Civic Innovation Challenge is closed
As part of Bellevue’s Innovation Forum, the city opened a Challenge from June 4 to July 8, 2025 seeking innovative design partnerships to address civic challenges and city priorities. The Civic Challenge was open to individuals, teams, students, startups and businesses.
Civic Challenge Award recipients receive:
- Coaching and mentoring from seasoned entrepreneurs, advisors and investors
- Design partnership with City of Bellevue staff to help test, optimize and/or refine a product or service
- Opportunity to showcase solutions for a civic tech audience and build relationships across the innovation ecosystem
- Up to a $15,000 stipend
