To raise awareness of traffic safety in neighborhoods, the city offers colorful neighborhood yard signs with traffic safety messages for people using our streets. These signs come in 11 available messages:

- Slow Down, Set the Pace
- All Intersections Are Crossings
- Eyes On the Road, Off The Phone
- Slow Down, My Cat Lives Here
- Slow Down, My Dog Lives Here

- Safe Streets Start Here
- Let Kids Enjoy Walking & Rolling

Upon receiving your request, Transportation Department staff will coordinate with you to deliver the signs and assist with the installation. A maximum of two (2) yard signs per household will be provided; more signs may be distributed based on community needs.
Staff will install signs either on your private property or in public locations that do not obstruct visibility for people traveling. Do not move the signs without consulting with Transportation Department staff.
You are responsible for confirming the signs are in accordance with any applicable homeowners association or other property regulations.
