Construction continues on the Lincoln Square development, and it will require lane closures on Bellevue Way this month.
Over the next couple of weekends, the northbound lanes will be closed between Northeast Fourth and Sixth streets. One southbound lane will be closed between Northeast Fourth and Eighth streets to remove construction equipment from the Lincoln Square site the first weekend and to erect a second crane to build the north tower the second weekend.
The closures will start at 7 p.m., Friday night and continue to 9 p.m., Sunday. The work will not need to take place around the clock; however, it will continue late into the evening and start each morning between 8 and 9 a.m. until Sunday night. Northbound drivers will be detoured to adjacent streets during the closures and electronic message boards will provide directional assistance.
Another weekend closure is expected January 30 through February 1. More information will be available soon.
