Parks & Community Services offers adult men's basketball, women’s basketball, coed volleyball and women's volleyball leagues three times a year – for winter, spring and fall seasons. To provide something for everyone, the city offers several levels of play, ranging from recreational to highly competitive.

Games and matches are played in some of the nicest gyms in the area at various Bellevue Parks and Bellevue School District locations. The gyms are easy to get to, well-maintained, with quality equipment. The leagues are supervised by Parks staff; basketball is officiated by trained members of the Pacific Northwest Basketball Officials Association while volleyball is self-officiated.

Teams can register online during open enrollment for the next scheduled league. Registrations are also accepted by email, mail and walk-in.

Not on a team? A list of interested players is maintained and made available to team managers looking for additional players. Please send an email to Leagues@bellevuewa.gov (or call 425-452-4479) with the following information:

  • Name (first, last initial)

Men's and coed adult softball is played on Bellevue's parks, with management and coordination by BBSAA, a private, nonprofit organization. BBSAA has details, or you can email info@bbsaa.org.

In the event of inclement weather, Bellevue Parks & Community Services will make every effort to clearly communicate the status of facilities and programs, special events, and rentals. The department will make an operational decision based upon the safety of participants and employees and the ability to appropriately staff programs and facilities.

Facility operating hours may vary, and those facilities not able to operate at full capacity may be open for drop-in activities on a modified schedule. Call the facility to confirm operating hours. If you are unable to reach the facility, then call the Parks & Community Services Department general information line at 425-452-6885 or visit the Parks homepage

Inclement weather can affect park use and trail conditions. Please use caution when visiting park sites during poor weather as trails and other park facilities may become wet and slippery. Park trails may also be closed.
