Utility Tax
This tax is similar to the business and occupation tax, but it is imposed on utility businesses that provide services such as telephone, cellular, gas, electric, water, sewage, drainage, cable, and garbage. Admission Tax
Levied on persons who pay an admission charge for entrance to an event or establishment. The tax is collected for the city by the business charging the admission, similar to the sales tax. Gambling Tax
All persons licensed by the State Gambling Commission to conduct gambling activities in the city are required to pay the gambling tax. Gambling activities include bingo games, raffles, amusement games, punchboards and pull-tabs. The tax rate ranges from 2 to 5 percent. Additional information: Bellevue Gambling Tax Code Chapter 4.14
