Downtown Livability 2.0 is a land use code amendment intended to improve the existing land use code to enhance the vitality and livability of Bellevue's downtown core. Downtown Livability 2.0 looks back on the downtown land use code that was adopted in 2017 and will propose updates to the code to address areas of the code not functioning as intended.
The LUCA will build off of the existing code and Downtown Subarea Plan to further the goals of encouraging livability, vitality, accessibility as well as the sense of place for Downtown.
