The city will reopen the indoor and outdoor tennis courts at Robinswood on Thursday, Jan. 21.
Phone reservations can be made at 425-452-7690 for indoor and outdoor tennis court rental for singles, doubles, ball machine rental (up to four people) and private instruction. Youth and adult group lesson programs and leagues begin Monday, Feb. 1. Prior to Jan. 21, people can make reservations on Jan. 19 and 20, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Reopening of the Robinswood facilities is due to the easing of restrictions to fitness programs on Jan. 11, part of Gov. Jay Inslee’s “Healthy Washington – Roadmap to Recovery.” Robinswood had been closed since November, when COVID-19 cases were skyrocketing in Washington.
Players are reminded to practice physical distancing by staying at least six feet apart. Face coverings are required at all times.
The courts at Robinswood Tennis Center will be open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Users must reserve a court before they arrive. The latest information on city closures and actions in response to COVID-19 is available at BellevueWA.gov/covid-19.
