The City of Bellevue invites the community to join its annual Neighborhood Walks series. This year’s three walks will take place this month in the Bridle Trails, Lake Hills and downtown areas, allowing participants to connect individually with city leaders and share what matters most to them in their neighborhoods.
Since 2018, the city has welcomed community members who live, work or play in the neighborhood on a relaxed, mile-long stroll with various city leaders – which often include some combination of the city manager, deputy city managers, directors of city departments and members of the City Council. These casual gatherings are intended to spark meaningful conversations and help city leaders better understand the daily experiences of the Bellevue community.
Residents who prefer not to follow the set route are welcome to meet us where the walks start and end, at their conclusions. This year, participants will be treated to free ice cream while they connect with others. All the walks will run 6-7:30 p.m.
