The City of Bellevue has selected seven new members to join the Bellevue Diversity Advisory Network. City Manager Diane Carlson reviewed applications from community members representing a wide array of backgrounds and experiences. The new members’ two-year terms begin Wednesday, Jan. 1.
BDAN meets monthly to provide counsel to the city on how to better reach, serve, communicate and collaborate with Bellevue’s diverse communities.
“I am very optimistic about the work BDAN will be doing over the next few years,” said Carlson. “These new members are joining an experienced and dynamic group that provides guidance on how the city can be responsive to the needs of our growing and changing city.”
The new members are:

- Samuel Rodriguez
- Rye Radetski
- Boliver Choi
- Lauren Applewood
- Anuradha Samrat
- Devika Vyas
