Bellevue Utilities assists K-12 schools in Bellevue with improving waste reduction, composting and recycling. Outreach is tailored to each school and can include:
- lunchtime presentations
- working with student groups
- special event booths during lunch, school events or science fairs
- School-specific recommendations to help each school meet their conservations goals
- Tools such as indoor recycling and composting containers, and kid-friendly signage
