    Officer Jordan Jackson

    Officer Jordan Jackson - E.O.W. 11/21/2022 Officer Jackson was tragically killed in a collision while conducting traffic enforcement on Bellevue Way on November 21, 2022. 

    Jordan was hired by the Bellevue Police Department in March of 2018. Jordan transferred to the Bellevue Police Motors (motorcycle) Unit in January of 2021. He was named Officer of the quarter in November 2022, and had just been selected to be a field training officer before his tragic death.

    Jordan was married with two children, and an avid fisherman, hiker, backpacker, surfer, snowboarder, dirt bike rider and indoor plant enthusiast. He was known by his friends and co-workers as kind, generous, brave, hard-working, adventurous, and committed to his job and serving the public. Above all, Jordan cherished his wife and children and devoted himself to providing the best family experiences he could through adventures, trips, and family gatherings.

     

    Officer Thomas Wray

    Detective Thomas Wray - E.O.W. 01/22/2002 Detective Tom Wray suffered a fatal heart attack after conducting a search for a wanted felon on January 22, 2002.

    Detective Wray and his partner were attempting to serve a warrant, and when they could not locate the suspect in his apartment, they searched the entire apartment complex. On their way back to the Bellevue Police Department, Detective Wray collapsed behind the wheel of his Department vehicle. His partner steered the car to safety and began life-saving measures. Detective Wray was transported to St. Francis Hospital where he passed away.

    Detective Wray was a native of Memphis, Tennesee, and a United States Air Force veteran. Detective Wray had served with the Bellevue Police Department for 24 years. He is survived by his wife and five children.
