    In 2023, the Bellevue Police Department launched Police Summer Youth Camp, a hands-on adventure to help connect the City's youth with law enforcement. 

    Due to the overwhelming reception and success of the summer youth camps, the BPD divided up its Youth Camp into two separate opportunities -- one for middle school students and one for high school students! Each camp hosts 30 students. 

    ***Registration for the 2025 Youth Camp has ended***

    The 2025 Police Summer Youth Camp will features three fun, action-packed days of hands-on learning, interactive demonstrations, team-building exercises and more, including:

    • Police motorcycles
    • Crime scene investigation
    • "Distracted riding" course
    • Social media safety
    • Basic first aid
    • Guardian One helicopter
    • Prizes and games 

    "We want to build positive relationships with our young community members to improve trust and understanding.     When: July 21-23 (Middle School Camp) and Aug. 4-6 (High School Camp) from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

    Where: Bellevue *Exact location will be disclosed upon acceptance.

    Who Can Apply: Bellevue youth entering grades 6-12 in fall 2025. 

    Where to Apply: Applications are closed for the 2025 BPD Summer Youth Camp.

    FYI: Parents will be notified no later than May 15 if their student is invited to participate.
