As part of Sound Transit’s East Link light rail project, the City of Bellevue is constructing a new produce stand adjacent to the Winters House. The produce stand is a two-story building of approximately 1,750 square feet. The building is designed to provide space for blueberry and other produce sales, and a small office.
The farmstand will be located at 2220 Bellevue Way SE.
Current Status
Current construction is going vertical. Passing by the construction site you will be able to see the walls being framed and sheathed and soon the rafters for the roof will be craned to the top of the walls and set in place.
Construction started in April of 2023 and expected to finish late spring 2024. The sub-grade work and concrete stem walls were completed along with the interior slab this August.
When completed the farm stand will be a short walk, either along the sidewalk, or through the Mercer
Slough Nature Park trail system, from the new South Bellevue Station and Park and Ride.
During construction, the Mercer Slough Trail system will remain open to the public. Please be careful of construction activities if visiting the park. Berries from Mercer Slough’s blueberry farm will be harvested and sold at the Larson Lake produce stand.
We apologize for the inconvenience that the construction creates and appreciate your patience. We will work hard to maximize safety and minimize impacts to you!
