As part of Sound Transit's East Link light rail project, the City of Bellevue is constructing a new produce stand adjacent to the Winters House. The produce stand is a two-story building of approximately 1,750 square feet. The building is designed to provide space for blueberry and other produce sales, and a small office.
The farmstand is located at 2220 Bellevue Way SE.
Current Status
The farmstand is now complete. The 1750 square foot building includes a produce sales and display area, an office area, and public restrooms.
Construction started in April of 2023 and was completed early August 2024. The farmstand is a short walk, either along the sidewalk, or through the Mercer Slough Nature Park trail system, from the new South Bellevue Station and Park and Ride.
The restrooms on the north side of the building will be open to the public starting August 16, and the farmstand will open soon after.
The farmstand will be operated in 2024 by Cha Family Farms including blueberry sales, U-Pick, and produce sales. Currently the U-Pick blueberry farm is open, hours of operation can be found on their website.
