This project was completed, and the field is open for use.
Synthetic turf has been installed at Wilburton Hill Park, helping to satisfy a city need for more high-quality soccer fields by expanding the usability of an existing site that already has lights, parking and restrooms.
Project Background
The installation of synthetic turf at
Wilburton Hill Park has been a high-priority park project for many years and is identified in the
2003 Parks & Open Space System Plan. It was also one of two synthetic sports field projects identified as part of the 2008 parks levy approved by Bellevue voters.
Scope of Work
The project scope includes converting the existing all-weather soccer field to synthetic turf, including a rubberized running track around the perimeter of the field.
