Aug 5 - Theatre on the Green, 6:30 p.m.
"A Midsummer Night's Dream" is one of Shakespeare's most popular comedies.  A combination of fantasy and comedy, it is about the follies of love and the adventures of two pairs of young lovers and a group of rough, amateur actors who become involved in a battle of wits between the fairy queen, Titania, and her king, Oberon.  Donations will be accepted following this show to benefit Last Leaf Productions.

Aug 12 - Theatre on the Green, 6:30 p.m.
"The Artist's Brush" is adapted from an old Dutch fairytale and set in the middle of the seventeenth century, when Dutch painters were incredibly popular.  Johannes, a wannabe painter, wants to be famous more than he wants to paint, so he trades his paintbrush for a fairy's paintbrush.  But the magic brush comes with a trick.  He can only paint what he sees.  This gets him in trouble when he is asked to paint the portrait of a wealthy mayor's wife who, in Johannes' eyes, is not very attractive.

Aug 19 Theatre on the Green, 6:30 p.m.
"Hercules and the Golden Apple" is based on the twelfth labor of the famous Greek hero, Hercules.  It is a very silly and fun musical adaptation of Hercules' quest to find the secret garden of the goddess, Hera, and steal two apples from her special apple tree.  On the way he gets some reluctant help from Athena, the Titan Atlas, the Sphinx and a very silly Greek Chorus, among others.
