Fees and Timelines

Design Review Process
  1. Preliminary utilities design routed for review
  2. Utilities Department design review meeting
  3. Marked utilities plans/report and review comments to applicant's contact person (cc: Development Services project manager)
  4. Revised plans/report received
  5. Repeat revision (if needed) until satisfactory
  6. Preconstruction letter sent to applicant
  7. Final sewer design routed to King County/METRO for required approvals
  8. Revised utilities design deemed final

In-person Permit Center services are available Monday to Thursday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The Permit Center will be open on Friday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., although customers visiting City Hall may be served remotely by permitting staff.
