Home in Bellevue: Affordable Housing 101
Stevenson Elementary School, 14220 NE 8th ST, Bellevue, WA 98007
What is affordable housing and how can we ensure everyone has a place to call home in Bellevue?
The City of Bellevue has a goal of creating or preserving 5,700 affordable housing units over the next decade. To achieve this goal, the city is updating its Affordable Housing Strategy, which outlines the activities and actions required for success.
Join the city's Office of Housing for Home in Bellevue: Affordable Housing 101, an interactive educational event to learn more about affordable housing - the different types, who it serves, how it's financed and more. Attendees will get a chance to engage in hand-on activities, review information boards, and ask questions. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
Registration at http://home-in-bellevue.eventbrite.com/ is encouraged, though is not required.
This is a drop-in event - come anytime and stay as long as you’d like. People of all ages and abilities are welcome.
