The Bellevue Collection presents Bellevue Family 4th of July
Celebrate our nation's birthday with friends and neighbors in Bellevue Downtown Park at the Eastside's largest Independence Day event.
Activities kick off at 2 p.m., with the Bellevue Parks Family Fun Zone and the Family Plaza providing ticketed rides and free family entertainment for the kids, including Hawaiian dancing, Sammamish High School Step Team, mascots and Leapin Louie (comedy/juggling show). The Food Court will be open from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., offering a variety of food choices.
Live music on the PACCAR Main Stage will begin at 3:45 p.m. with Adrian Xavier Band (world reggae), followed by Miller Campbell (country band) at 5 p.m., and Free Rain (dance band) at 7:15 p.m. The celebration will also feature the Presentation of Colors by the Bellevue Fire Honor Guard, and the National Anthem performed by the Sammamish High School Jazz Choir - Totem Voices at 8:50 p.m. At 9:25 p.m., the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra will take center stage under the direction of Dr. Teresa Metzger Howe, to present special Independence Day performances before, during and after the spectacular fireworks display.
Getting to the event:
Bellevue Downtown Park is located immediately south of Bellevue Square at 10201 NE 4th Street. Several streets will be closed for the event to keep people safe and minimum delays; we highly encourage you to arrive early. Please be patient, observe posted signs and obey police officers directing traffic.
Transit service is also available to the Bellevue Transit Center (at NE 6th Street and 108th Avenue NE) from Seattle and many surrounding areas.
Complimentary event parking is generously provided, courtesy of The Bellevue Collection and offered after 6 p.m. at Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square North, Lincoln Square South and Bellevue Place. For an efficient post-event exit, park at the Bellevue Place garage and exit via NE 10th Street.
At the Park:
Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy Bellevue's iconic venue. Leave pets, personal barbecues and alcohol at home. No personal fireworks allowed! Small umbrellas or beach tents are permitted but must be taken down by 8 p.m. Enjoy a picnic from home, or buy a variety of food from vendors at the Food Court in the southwest corner of the park by Inspiration Playground. Bring a flashlight for safety after dark.
