2022 UTILITY RATE RELIEF PROGRAM WORKSHOP
Do You Need Help Paying your Utility Bill?
City of Bellevue Staff will be available to help you apply for the 2022 Utility Rate Relief program.
- Rate Relief Discount Program:
If you are a low-income senior (62 years and older) or have permanent disability and pay a utility bill directly to the City of Bellevue, you can get a discount of 70% off the basic costs of 2022 water, wastewater, and drainage services by application:
- A valid photo identification document (ID) for each member of household
- Proof of income for each member of household for previous year (2021)
- If permanently disabled, proof of disability 2021 award and earning
2. Rate Relief Rebate Program:
If you are a low-income senior (62 years and older) or have permanent disability living within the service area of Bellevue, you can get a rebate check for 70% of your 2021 water, wastewater and drainage costs you previously paid through rent or other third party by qualifying for this program. Please bring copies of below documents to the workshop so we can help you complete an application:
- A valid photo identification document (ID) for each member of household
- Proof of income for each member of household for previous year (2021)
- Proof of 2021 primary residence within Bellevue Service Area (you can bring your January 2022 PSE bill or your lease agreement).
- Proof of 2021 Housing Assistance (if applicable)
- If permanently disabled, proof of disability 2021 award and earning
Appointments are NOT required (first come, first served). We will have Application Packets available at the event, but you can save a lot of time by completing an application prior to coming to the workshop.
