Feeling overwhelmed or burned out? Struggling to communicate with people from other cultures or just think you could connect better with everyone? Bellevue’s Neighborhood Mediation team can help with a series of workshops this spring.

The workshops are open to the first 50 people who show up, so participants will want to come early.

    Resiliency Skills:
Thursday, April 19, Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue, 209 100th Ave. NE, 10 a.m.-noon
For people feeling overwhelmed or burned out, this interactive workshop will teach skills for taking care of yourself in the midst of stressful circumstances. Participants will come away feeling more resilient and connected to others in the community.

    Exploring Cross-Cultural Communication:
Thursday, April 19, Newport Way Library, 14250 SE Newport Way, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Through interactive workshop, participants will learn to focus when listening, what to say to let others know they have been heard and how to limit unhelpful listening habits. Mastering this art can improve relationships, concentration and ability to help others. Taught by Marci McReynolds, Neighborhood Mediation co-manager.

    Challenging Conversations
