On June 17 at approximately 11:54 a.m., a 35-year-old woman was found dead in her condo on the 12700 block of Northeast 10th Place. Foul play is suspected and the investigation continues at this time.
Coworkers became worried on Monday morning when the woman did not show up for work in Redmond. A coworker went to the victim's residence and found the woman dead inside her condo. Bellevue Police officers and Fire Department medics responded immediately after the 9-1-1 call. All occupants of the residence have been accounted for.
The incident appears to be an isolated incident with no immediate threat to the neighbors or the community.
This is the first homicide in Bellevue in 2013. Last year, there were two homicides; one resulted in a conviction and the other one is pending trial.
The King County Medical Examiner will release the name of the victim after an examination. Immediate family has been notified.
Bellevue Police are asking anyone who witnessed or has any information regarding this incident to please phone the tip line at: 425-452-2564 or pdtipline@bellevuewa.gov.
