Bellevue Police are looking for a man they believe witnessed a Dec. 24 shooting at the Munchbar downtown. A Seattle man was killed in the shooting in the crowded bar, and surveillance cameras show the victim may have been with a young black man wearing a white hat.
If you can identify the man in a series of surveillance camera stills and in the pictures below, please contact the Bellevue Police Department at 425-452-6050.
Two men -- the victim and a Renton man who was injured -- were shot early on the morning of Christmas Eve day at the Munchbar, a popular nightclub at Bellevue Square Mall. Bellevue Police officers and officers from surrounding police agencies responded immediately, reportedly crowded with more than 600 patrons at the time.
A 19-year-old Renton man arrested in a stolen car in Lakewood on Jan. 2 was charged with second-degree murder for the shooting on Jan. 10. The Munchbar has been closed.
