The City of Bellevue is developing its first Watershed Management Plan to improve the health of our streams, lakes and wetlands over the next 20 years, and wants to hear from area residents and businesses about what should be in the plan.

Bellevue has over 80 miles of streams that provide valuable habitat for fish and wildlife, and provide space for play and recreation. They are part of what makes Bellevue a beautiful place to live, work and play.

The plan will recommend actions that the city, partner agencies and community members can take to improve stream health in Bellevue.

People can learn more and comment on watershed protections between now and July 31 at EngagingBellevue.com/watershed-management. The city wants to ensure the plan it drafts reflects community values and input. Some people will be eligible to participate in a paid focus group.
