Bellevue residents affected by Republic Services ongoing labor dispute and work stoppage now have a location to drop off waste. Republic Services is providing a free drop-off location in Bellevue two days this week.
Drop-off Location, Dates and Times
Bannerwood Park parking lot, 1790 Richards Rd
Tuesday, July 15, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Wednesday, July 16, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
The drop-off location will accept bagged garbage, recycling and compost materials. Republic Services will be on site to assist community members. If the work stoppage continues beyond Wednesday, the City of Bellevue will coordinate additional drop-off locations with Republic Services.
“We appreciate Republic Services providing this temporary solution, and we are committed to working with them to minimize impacts and ensure residents have options for managing their waste during the work stoppage,” said Utilities Director Lucy Liu.
The City of Bellevue contracts with Republic Services for garbage, recycling, composting and yard waste services. Bellevue residents can get updates on the work stoppage at RepublicBellevue.com.
