Want to connect more with your neighbors? How about throwing a block party? We'll help you organize.
Creating neighbor connections makes living in Bellevue's neighborhoods more fun, creates a sense of community, is a powerful deterrent to crime, and can mean nearby support in an emergency. Through the city's Neighbor Link program, we are now taking your reservations to plan a party between now and Oct. 2.
We can help you promote your event with colorful flyers, a banner or A-Board signage, and connect you with the resources to create the party that fits your neighborhood. Neighbor Link is a resource for:
- small gatherings;
- larger block parties, where you close your street (free permit); and
- themed "Night Out" events, with community service providers on hand.
We can even coordinate a daytime guided group tour (on Thursdays, Aug. 18-Oct. 6) of the upcoming Bellwether "Confluence" sculpture exhibit.
Not sure where to start? We'll share what other residents are doing to make others feel welcomed. Please plan three weeks ahead.
