The East Bellevue Community Council is seeking candidates for a vacancy on the EBCC. The successful candidate will complete a term that expires on Dec. 31, 2021. Applications are due by Wednesday, Jan. 31.

The EBCC is an elected body that has approval/ disapproval authority over certain land-use actions in a part of East Bellevue – including city ordinances and resolutions dealing with land use matters, such as comprehensive plans, zoning, subdivisions and conditional use permits. In addition to acting on land use matters, the EBCC may advise, consult and cooperate with the City Council on any local matters directly or indirectly affecting its service area.

Applicants must live in the area represented by the EBCC and must be available for evening meetings. The EBCC meets on the first Tuesday of each month, 6:30 p.m. at the Lake Hills Community Clubhouse, 15230 Lake Hills Blvd. Attendance at other evening meetings is sometimes required.

People interested in applying may do so online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/EBCCVac.
Community service applications can also be picked up from the City Clerk’s Office, the Service First desk at City Hall, the Bellevue Regional Library, the Lake Hills Library or the Mini City Hall at the Crossroads Shopping Center. A faxed copy may be requested by calling 425-452-6806. A resume may be attached if you choose.

Applications must be received by the City Clerk by 5 p.m., Jan. 31. In addition to the online form, applications may be submitted by any of the below listed options:
