City Hall closed for Veterans Day

City Hall and other city facilities are closed on Monday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day. Essential services, including police and fire, will still be available.

Sewer Spill Alert

A blockage incident occurred on Saturday resulting in approximately 9,000 gallons of sewage entering the north end of Meydenbauer Bay in the 700 block of Overlake Drive East, Medina. King County Public Health recommends people and pets stay out of the water in the affected area, including Clyde Hill Beach Park and Meydenbauer Beach Park, until Sunday, Nov. 10 at 12 p.m. Signs are in place at public access points and bordering residents have been notified. Bellevue Utilities will inspect city water mains along West Lake Sammamish Parkway beginning Monday. The routine maintenance work helps ensure a reliable water supply for residents.

The work, which will continue through Feb. 3, will be done Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Work will begin on the along the 1800 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast, moving north and eventually ending on the 670 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast.

The travelling public can expect to encounter some traffic delays because portions of the northbound lane of West Lake Sammamish Parkway will be closed for workers conducting the inspection work.
