As part of a continued effort to ensure BellevueWA.gov is easy to use, the City of Bellevue has just upgraded the site’s search tool. The new search engine is expected to produce more relevant results, while reducing the time it takes for users to find information that’s important to them.
Last June, the city replaced its website, offering users an improved mobile experience with greater functionality. The navigation was designed with users in mind, and a large “How Do I” search bar is front and center on the homepage.
While many residents have complimented the site’s clean look, several users have voiced dissatisfaction about the search engine. Since launch of the site, staff has continually worked to correct the issue. Improving the search engine has been a priority.
The city always wants to hear your input. Let us know what you think about the new search engine by emailing webmanager@bellevuewa.gov with feedback or questions.
