The City Council is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Transportation Commission. Interested Bellevue residents are encouraged to apply online by 5 p.m., Monday, Sept. 14.
The Transportation Commission reviews and recommends policies on transportation projects, funding and traffic standards. The commission meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m., with an additional meeting as needed on the fourth Thursday.
Commissioners are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the council to serve four-year volunteer terms. Service on boards and commissions offers community members a meaningful way to help shape Bellevue’s future.
Who can apply?
Applicants must live in Bellevue. The city values and encourages participation from community members of all backgrounds and experiences.
