Bellevue police detectives have arrested a 30-year-old woman and two 17-year-old boys in connection with the shooting of the woman's ex-husband in July at the Overlook at Lakemont Apartments. The 48-year-old victim was shot nine times in the parking lot as he approached his car. He survived and is recovering.
Detectives arrested the woman on Friday, Oct. 9, on investigation of attempted murder, alleging that she hired one of the boys to carry out the shooting. Investigators say that boy then got a friend to drive him from Mount Vernon to Bellevue to shoot the victim. The ex-wife was allegedly going to pay $13,000 for the murder.
This is still an active investigation, and more details will be made available soon.
