In the latest "Just a Minute Today in Bellevue" video, you can see the beauty of the Mercer Slough Nature Park and Environmental Education Center.
The wetland, off 118th Avenue Southeast, is not far from downtown, but it can feel a world away. You can take hiking trails through 320 acres of wildlife habitat.
Children take classes taught by park rangers and staff from the Pacific Science Center. There are guided canoe tours and free guided ranger walks on selected Sundays. Information is at the Mercer Slough Nature Park.
